Alternatively, backfill may be jetted if <br />sand of an SE not less than 30 is used. <br />(Jetting may not be effective if adequate <br />drainage is not available.)However, <br />jetting is not permissible if the trench <br />is located on a slope face. <br />e.Trenches should be capped with 1.51 feet <br />of relatively impermeable soil. <br />f. Jetting in trenches adjacent to buildings <br />or slopes should be carried out only <br />under the specific approval of the Soil <br />Engineer. <br />7.2.10 Surface Drainage <br />a.Pad drainage should be designed to <br />collect and direct surface water away <br />from structures to approved drainage <br />facilities.A minimum gradient of 21 <br />percent should be maintained,and <br />drainage should be directed toward <br />approved swales or drainage facilities. <br />b.Drainage patterns approved at the time of <br />fine grading should be maintained <br />throughout the life Of proposed <br />structures. <br />-r <br />. <br />I-
