The site <br />has recently been regraded to a near-level <br />condition and site grades are at approximately the <br />same elevation as Ross Street.Low height (<10 <br />feet) down-slopes border the property on the south <br />and west. <br />c. i. The regrading was done under the observation <br />and testing of NorCal Engineering.Their <br />report, Reference 13, was received by us on <br />September 24, 1992. <br />ii.The report states that the site was <br />overexcavated to competent material,, and that <br />fill was then placed to grade, a minimum <br />relative compaction of 90% being achieved in <br />the fill. <br />d.A retaining wall, with a maximum retained height of <br />approximately 5 feet, is present along a portion of <br />the west margin of the site. <br />1.3 Proposed Development <br />It is our understanding that the proposed Detention <br />Facility will consist of 2-story pre-fabricated concrete <br />jail cells, with a 1-story administration building of <br />conventional construction, slab-on-grade floors and paved <br />parking areas. <br />-- <br />-I - .*-.
