EXPEDITED PERMIT PROCESS FOR SMALL-SCALE PV SYSTEMS
STANDARD STRINC SySTEIT
The informarion in rhis guideline is intended to help local Jurisdicr ions and contractors identify when PV system installations
are simple, needing only a basic review and when an installation is more complex. lt is lrkely rhat 50%-75% of all residential
systems will comply with these simple criteria For projects thar fail to meet the simple criteria. resolution steps have been
sugqested to provide as a path ro permit approval
Required lnJormation Jor Permit:
I Srre plan sho' rng locaflon of major components on the prd-pq;r1 ThF dBrrngneed nq be exactly to scale. but tt
should represenr relarrve locarron or components at site (s#/Mtef,{|; (gl{,qql;*9\l arrays on dwelhngs
with a I perimeter space at ridge and sides may not need separate hre service tevlsvr-
2.
