The design and installation of thc Boral <br />Roofing concrete roof tilcs shall be in accordance wirh <br />Sections 1507.3.10 and 15l3 CBC or Section 905.3 ofthe <br />CRC, as applicablc, and ER-413. <br />2.2 RoofTilcs shall be installed in accordance with Scctions <br />1.0 and 4.0 of ER-4ll except, rr'hcre thc building official <br />rcquires confbrmance to thc CBC or CRC. the tbllowing shall <br />be substituted: <br />2.2.1 Undcrlayment shall confomr with CBC Section <br />1507.l. I or CRC Section 905.1 .l . <br />2.2.2 Anachment ofthe concretc rooftilcs shall be designed <br />to resist wind loads according to CBC Sections 1507.3.7 <br />and 1609.5 or CRC Section 905.3. as applicable. <br />2.3 Boral Roofing concrete roof tiles may be used in "new <br />buildings located in any Fire Hazard Severity Zone or any <br />Wildland-Urban lnterlhce Fire Area designated by the <br />enforcing agency constructed aller the application date shall <br />comply with the provisions" in accordance with Sections <br />701A.3 and 705A ofthe CBC. or Sections R337.1.1.1 and <br />R337.5 of thc CRC, as applicable. and with the IBC as <br />presented in ER-412. <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />Number:
