Connect the Microinverters <br />a. Remove the red temporary shipping cap from <br />the cable connector and connect the micro- <br />inverter. Listen for two clicks as the connectors <br />engage. <br />b. Slide the hex nut onte the cable. <br />c. Cover any unused connectors with sealihg <br />caps. Listen for two clicks as.the connectors <br />engage. See notes in Step Detai/s on back. <br />d. Attach the cap. <br />bend wires down <br />+ into recesses of <br />wire organizer and <br />trim to length <br />* place cap over <br />the wire organizer <br />&1 (U ho/d the cap with <br />the disconnect <br />tool or a #2 <br />screwdriver <br />Do not use the <br />red shipping cap to <br />cover unused <br />connectors. The <br />shipping cap does <br />not previde an <br />adequate <br />environmental seal. <br />e Terminate the Unused End of the Cable <br />a. Remove 70mm (39 of the cable sheath from <br />the conductors. <br />0 <br />5 rotate the hex- nut with your <br />hand or a wrench <br />until the /atching <br />mechanism meets <br />the base - do not <br />over torque <br />e. Attach the terminated cable end to the rack- <br />ing with a clip or tie wrap. <br />Connect the Cableto the AC Junction Box <br />Connect the cable into the AC branch circuit <br />junction box.
