Slide <br />thealuminumƜashingunderneaththerowofshinglesdirectlyup <br />slopefromthepilotholeasshown.Aligntheindicatormarksonthe <br />lowerendoftheƜashingwiththechalklinesontherooftocenter <br />theraisedholeintheƜashingoverthepilotholeintheroof.When <br />installedcorrectly,theƜashingwillextendunderthetwocoursesof <br />shinglesabovethepilothole. <br />STEP 2 INSTALL L-FOOT <br />• FastenL-footandFlashingintoplacebypassingtheincludedlag <br />boltandpre-installedstainlesssteel-backedEPDMwasherthrough <br />theL-footEPDMgrommet,andtheraisedholeintheƜashing,into <br />the pilot hole in the roof rafter. <br />• DrivethelagboltdownuntiltheL-footisheldƛrmlyinplace.Itis <br />normalfortheEPDMontheundersideofthestainlesssteelbacked <br />EPDMwashertocompressandexpandbeyondtheoutsideedgeof <br />the steel washer when the proper torque is applied. <br />• Usecautiontoavoidover-torqueing thelag boltifusing animpactdriver. <br />• RepeatSteps1and2ateachroofattachmentpoint. <br />STEP 3 ATTACHL-FOOTTORAIL <br />• Inserttheincluded3/8"-16T-boltsintothelowerslotontheRail <br />(soldseparately),spacingtheboltstomatchthespacingbetween <br />the roof attachments. <br />• Position the Rail against the L-Foot and insert the threaded end of <br />theT-BoltthroughthecontinuousslotintheL-Foot.Applyanti-seize <br />toboltthreadstopreventgallingoftheT-boltandincluded3/8ƌ <br />serratedƜangenut.Placethe3/8ƌƜangenutontheT-boltand <br />ƛngertighten.RepeatSTEP 3untilallL-FeetaresecuredtotheRail <br />withaT-bolt.AdjustthelevelandheightoftheRailandtorqueeach <br />boltto30ft-lbs. <br />INSTALL FLASHKITPROFLASHING <br />STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 <br />INSTALL L-FOOT ATTACHL-FOOTTORAIL <br />FLASHKIT PRO <br /> INSTALLATION GUIDE <br />1006 S Austin St <br />Unit 208/12/22
