Freeland; <br />A GREAT MEXICAN & AMENICAN FOOD PTACE <br />sombrero street, lnc. has recently purchased its restaurant site located at <br />719 No. Haln street. Plans that had been submltted by the prevlous owner <br />to comply with the seismlc code dld not lnclude some modif icatlon to the <br />restaurant that were also necessary and required a complete <br />re-engineerlng of the project. These plans are not yet complete and we <br />flnd i[ necessrry to request a change in our selsmlc classlflcation to a <br />medlum rlsk buiidlng untilsuch tlme as we can complete these plans and <br />have them approved. We anticlpate thls to be wlthin 45 days <br />Since our faclllty is somewhat unique in that it is a restaurant, we have <br />devisedaplanthatwillallowustocontinuetooperatewhllereducingthe <br />restaurant capaclty to an acceptable level for selsmlc neclasslficatlon. <br />Since oun heavlest trade ls between l l:00A.11. and ]:00 P.M. ( lunch trade) <br />we propose to close our bar area to the publlc between the hours of <br />tt:oon.N.(openlngtlmeoftherestaurant)and5:00P.t1.(Theenrlofour <br />lunch trade) tnereby reduclng the total occupancy of the entlre faclllty t0 <br />98. The bar anea would be open only as a serYlce bar and would have one <br />person on duty to provlde beverage servlce to the dtntngroom At 3:00PM' <br />vve would close our upstalrs level dlnlng area and openlng our bar thereby <br />malntainlng a total faclllty capacity of 98.
