McKay <br />16601 Greenviev Lane <br />Iluntiniton Beach, Ca 92649 <br />Dear Mr. McKay: <br />Described as Orange Co unt y Assessor's Parcel No. 13 184.11 <br />The purpose of this letter is to again inform you of the requirements of the City <br />of Santa l,na's Seismic Safety Ordinance (Article XI Chapter 8, Santa Ana Municipal Code). <br />The time for submittal for an application for an appeal or for alternate classifi- <br />cation or for a permit for partial repairs as provided for in lhe Ordinance has exPired. <br />This letter is to inform you that under the provisions of the 0rdinance the owner ls <br />required to provide a structural analysis prepared by a licensed structural engineer, <br />civj.t englneer or architect. This structural analysis, together with plans and ca1- <br />culations necessary for corrective vork, is tc be submitted to the Cityrs DepartmenE <br />of Planning and Development Services for review by April 24, 1984. Permits required to <br />accomplish the necessary structural alterations must be obtained by Jui 29 1984. The <br />required alterations must commence within one hundred eighty (180) days from the date <br />the pernit !s lssued, and the bullding must be corrected to meet the minimum require- <br />menls of the Ordinance not later than July 29, 1986. As you should be avare, this is <br />the same information provided you j.n the oriSinal Notice and Order sent to you on <br />Ju ly 29, 1983. <br />The consequences of failing to comply with any of the dates of the Ordinance are that <br />you will be required to vacate the bulldlng and leave it vacant until such time that <br />you have cornpleted the seismic rehabilitation work or you may be required to demolish <br />ihe structure. In addition, you nay be subject to criminal or civil action taken by <br />the Clty Attorney.
