Box 1988 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />Dear Mr, Freeland: <br />This is in reply to your letter of May 31, 1984, <br />Partners in regard to extension of occupancy for <br />offices at 410 N. Main Street, Santa Ana. <br />to <br />the <br />Ralph A1len & <br />Dr. Beauchamp <br />As was explained in the letter of May 29, 1984, from Ralph A11en to <br />yourself , there are a number of problems connected with this deadline. <br />First of all, we do not think the new building will be ready for <br />occupancy by thar date. The problern is thaE major rehab canno t be <br />done to existing bui.lding during our occupancy. So regardless of <br />r.,heEher the existing building is rehabilitated or not, it cannot be <br />done whi-le r{,e are in business in the building. We therefore ask that <br />we be permitted to occupy t.he building up to tr.Io rnonths beyond the <br />July 29th date. Thls will a 11ow us to complete our !enant <br />improvement s so that we can move. After we have vacated the exlsting <br />building, the owner can then comply by r ehabil i tat ing, abandoning' <br />demollshing, or selling it. <br />Due to the short t ime allowance ' we ask to go before your appeals <br />board on this matter at the earliest opPortunity. <br />Ver y truly yours,e*zb*z-- l.z{z/ <br />James B.
