Typical fertilizers are Potassium chloride, ammonium sulfate or ammonium sulfate nitrate (ASN). So this is another reason why testing full corrosion <br />series is good because we then have the data to see if those other ingredients are present meaning the soil sample is just fertilizer-contaminated soil. This can happen often when the soil samples collected are simply <br />surface scoops which is why it's best to dig in a foot, throw away the top and test the deeper stuff.
