From the site survey, the
roof is made of Flat Rolled Composition roofing over roof plywood supported by 2X4 Rafters at 24 inches on a
relatively flat roof. The slope of the ballast tilt is approximated to be 5 degrees.
the existing roof framing has been determined
to be adequate to support an additional dead weight without structural upgrades. To avoid structural
updgrades and/or additional analysis for the lateral resisting system, additional Weight should not exceed
that covered in the report. Parameters above ensure that the seismic weight increase is less than 10%.
More dead weight can be added only after further analysis of the lateral resisting system are performed.
Ballasts seismic and uplift resistance as well as layout are derived and covered by The Ballast report.Capacity
calculations were done in accordance with applicable building codes.
projects@evengineersnet.com
http://www.evengineersnet.com
Structural Only
1605 E 4th St - 101113848 and
20178713
11/15/2023
