9. All conductor exposed to weather shall be <br />listed and identified for use in direct sunlight. <br />[NEC 690.31(B), 310.8(D)] <br />10. The module conductors must be type USE-2 <br />or listed for photovoltaic (PV) wire. (NEC <br />690.31(B)) <br />11. All conductors shall be marked on each end <br />for unique identification. <br />12. PV module negative shall be grounded. All <br />grounded conductor shall be properly color <br />identified as white. [NEC 200.6] <br />13. PV system connected on the load side of the <br />service disconnecting means of the other <br />source(s) at any distribution equipment on the <br />premises shall meet the following [NEC <br />705.12(D)]: <br />14. Each source connection shall be made at a <br />dedicated circuit breaker or fusible disconnecting <br />means. [NEC 705.12(D)(1)] <br />15. Grounding bushings are required around <br />pre-punched concentric knockouts on the DC side of <br />the system (NEC 250.64 C) <br />29. Grounding electrode conductor will be <br />continuous, expect for splices or joints at busbars <br />within listed equipment. <br />(NEC 250.64 C) <br />30. All smoke alarms, Carbon monoxide alarms and <br />audible notification devices shall be listed and <br />labeled in accordance with UL 217 and UL 2034. <br />They will be installed in accordance with NFPA 72 <br />and NFPA 720. (CRC 2019 R314 & R315). <br />31. 2019 California Residential Code (CRC) requires <br />that Smoke alarms and Carbon Monoxide Alarms be <br />retrofitted into the existing dwelling. These Smoke <br />alarms are required to be in all bedrooms, outside <br />each bedroom, and at least one on each floor of the <br />house. Carbon Monoxide alarms are required to be <br />retrofitted outside each bedroom and at least one <br />on each floor of the house.
