<br />SANITARY SEWER NOTES:
<br />1 . Total two (2) water closet fixture units. Provide minimum 4" sanitary sewer
<br />drain beginning at the water closet and running to the sewer main in the
<br />street.
<br />2. Contractor shall verify existing sanitary sewer lateral meets capacity (Ref:
<br />2022-CPC 703.2 and Table 703.2).
<br />3. Where drain is undersized, contractor shall upgrade main sanitary sewer drain
<br />to be 4" minimum diameter.
<br />Address Identification
<br />Buildings shall be provided with approved address identification. The
<br />address identification shall be legible and placed in a position that is
<br />visible from the street or road fronting the property. Address
<br />identification characters shall contrast with their background. Address
<br />numbers shall be Arabic numbers or alphabetical letters. Numbers shall
<br />not be spelled out. Each character shall be not less than 4 inches inch
<br />height with a stroke width of not less than 0.5 inch. Where required
<br />by the fire code official, address identification shall be provided in
<br />additional approved locations to facilitate emergency response. Where
<br />access is by means of a private road and the building address cannot
<br />be viewed from the public way, a monument, pole or other sign or
<br />means shall be used to identify the structure. Address identification

<br />Expiration
<br />Every permit issued shall become invalid unless work authorized is
<br />commenced within 1 80 days after its issuance or if the work
<br />authorized is suspended or abandoned for a period of 1 80 days. A
<br />successful inspection must be obtained within 1 80 days. (1 05.5
<br />CRC-2022)
<br />SMOKE ALARMS:
<br />1 . Where more than one smoke alarm is required to be installed within an
<br />individual dwelling or sleeping unit, the smoke alarms shall be interconnected
<br />in such a manner that the activation of one alarm will activate all of the alarms
<br />in the individual unit. The alarm shall be clearly audible in all bedrooms over
<br />background noise levels with all intervening doors closed. Per section
<br />R31 4.4 CRC-2022.
<br />2. Smoke alarms shall receive their primary power from the building wiring
<br />provided that such wiring is served from a commercial source and shall be
<br />equipped with a battery backup. Smoke alarms with integral strobes that are
<br />not equipped with battery backup shall be connected to an emergency
<br />electrical system. Smoke alarms shall emit a signal when the batteries are
<br />low. Wiring shall be permanent and without a disconnecting switch other than
<br />as required for overcurrent protection. Per section R31 4.6 CRC-2022
<br />CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS:
<br />1 . Carbon monoxide alarms shall be listed in accordance with UL 2034.
<br />Combination carbon monoxide and smoke alarms shall be listed in accordance
<br />with UL 21 7 and UL 2034. Per section R31 5.1 CRC-2022.
<br />2. Carbon monoxide alarms in dwelling units shall be installed and maintained in
<br />accordance with the manufacturer's published instructions in the following
<br />locations: Outside of each separate sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of
<br />the bedrooms. On every occupiable level of a dwelling unit, including
<br />basements. Where a fuel-burning appliance is located within a bedroom or its
<br />attached bathroom, a carbon monoxide alarm shall be installed within the
