GEO-ETKA, INC. <br /> Job No: F-12136-24 <br />1 <br /> <br />Scope <br /> <br />This report presents the results of our Foundation Soils Investigation of the site of the <br />proposed construction located at 2010 and 2012 North Bush Avenue, Santa Ana, <br />California 92706. <br /> <br />The physical location and approximate dimensions of the site are shown on the <br />attached Plot Plan, Plate “A-2”. This plans accuracy is as good as was submitted to our <br />office, for dimension of the property use plans by surveyors or civil engineers. <br /> <br />An investigation was authorized to determine the existing soil conditions at the site and <br />to provide data and specific recommendations relative to the foundation design for the <br />proposed structure(s) in accordance to your approval of our proposal dated 09-24-24. <br /> <br />Refer to Appendix II for an explanation of the limitations inherent in the field. <br /> <br /> <br />Proposed Construction <br /> <br />Proposed plans are to construct a 2 story structure with 2 ADU units to the existing <br />single-family structure. See Plate “A-2” for details. Driveways, planters, and <br />landscaping complete the project. <br /> <br />Wall and Column loads of 1,200 to 2,500 p.l.f. and 8 to 18 kips, respectively, have been <br />assumed and utilized in the preparation of this report. <br /> <br />This preliminary report is issued for the above design values. If the final project <br />parameters, i.e. building size, building location, foundation loads etc., vary significantly <br />from those noted above this office should be notified. At that time, this report will be <br />revised to comply with the new design values. <br /> <br />This report is prepared for the client/owner, the project engineers, and the governing <br />agencies. Use of its contents by third parties is not recommended. Chemical testing for <br />detection of hydrocarbons or other potential contaminants is beyond the scope of this <br />report. Environmental assessment is not a part of the work undertaken. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Site Condition <br /> <br />The site of the proposed construction is a rectangular shaped 50ꞌx 140ꞌ(WxL) section of <br />the parcel with a reasonably level surface. The property is surrounded on two (2) sides <br />by residences, and to the east by Bush Avenue and on the west is an alley. <br /> <br />Drainage is towards the street and to the alley by sheetflow. With reference to the site, <br />all 4 sides have matching contours. A light growth of brush, grass and trees form the <br />ground cover. <br /> <br />2010 & 2012 N Bush Ave, <br />#100 and #1012/21/2025
