Before mounting the circuit breaker in an electrical <br />system, make sure there is no voltage present where work <br />is to be performed. The voltage in energized equipment can <br />cause injury or death. <br />B. Make sure that the circuit breaker is suitable for the <br />installation by comparing nameplate data with the system <br />requirements. Inspect the circuit breaker for completeness, <br />and check for damage before mounting. <br />C. Remove outside and inside covers from loadcenter by <br />removing securing screws. <br />D. Position Main Breaker over (2) 1/4-20 studs of interior bus <br />as shown in Figure 2. Secure with (2) 1/4-20 nuts provided. <br />Torque nuts to 48 lb-in. <br />E. Fasten #8-32 base mounting screw through slot between <br />wire terminals into hole in backpan. <br />F.
