May 6, 2024
Site ID: LA23642A
Site Name: LA3642 SCE LAVETA SUB CS
Project Name: ANCHOR

3
4.0 ANALYSIS METHOD
The analysis approach used in this report is founded on the premise that if the structural anchors of the
proposed cabinets, which will be used to support the proposed equipment, are structurally adequate per
the aforementioned codes and standards, then the proposed equipment may be placed at the desired
location. Calculations for this analysis are provided in the Appendices of this report.
5.0 ANALYSIS ASSUMPTIONS
• Based on documentation referenced above NC assumes the following:
o Concrete Slab: f’c = 2500 psi with minimum thickness of 6”
• All steel pipe members are A53 Gr. B
• All steel angles and solid round members are A36
• All steel tubes are A500 Gr. B
• All bolts are A325 and all U-bolts are A307
• All mount members were properly installed
• All appurtenances were properly installed
• All member connections are assumed to have been designed to meet or exceed the load carrying
capacity of the connected member unless otherwise specified in this report
The existing antenna mounts and connections that are used to support the proposed installation are to be
inspected prior to the installation of the proposed equipment. If the conditions of the mounts and
connections are found to be unacceptable, the engineer should be notified, and they should be replaced
or repaired by the contractor.
6.0 CONCLUSIONS
We have analyzed the proposed cabinet anchors and determined they are ADEQUATE for supporting the
proposed loading.

Table 3 – Structural Analysis Summary
SECTOR STRUCTURAL MEMBER CAPACITY RATIO ANALYSIS
RAN Anchor Bolts 9% PASS

To support the proposed equipment, we recommend installing the proposed modifications per the following
specifications:
• Install new Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ2 - SS 1/2” dia (min. embedment = 3.0 in.) at each corner of each new
cabinets at ground level.
The conclusions and recommendations reached in this analysis are only applicable for the proposed
anchors supporting the proposed T-Mobile telecommunications equipment. Any deviation of the support,
load, placement, etc. will require us to generate an additional structural analysis. Further, no structural
qualification is made or implied by this analysis for the existing building structure or any other existing
structural members not directly impacted by the T-Mobile installation. We reserve the right to append or
modify this report as more information becomes available.
engineering services.
