SECONDARY AND BRACING INFORMATION

The following report is a summary of the purlin/girt design, associated framed opening
members, and roof/wall diagonal bracing.
The purlin/girt summary gives the member size, laps if required, locations, load widths,
calculated stress ratios, and deflections. The members are typically designed per the AISI as
continuous flexural members for wind pressure and wind suction for their respected wind zone
as well as axial load if used as part of the bracing system. The analysis output is the controlling
load combination unity check for shear and moment at supports, laps, and mid-spans.
The metal building system bracing consist of tension only bracing with all panel diaphragm
contributions neglected. The tension only bracing system is designed as a truss diaphragm for
the most severe load combination according to the pertinent building code.

51 1901 N Fairview St & Bldg A, B,
C, F & 1919 N Fairview St Bldg E
4/11/2024
