CONTRACTOR SHALL SURVEY AND INSPECT <br />ALL AREAS PRIOR TO PERFORMING SERVICES TO ENSURE CLEARANCES CAN BE MET AND NO <br />INTERFERENCES EXIST. NO CUTTING OR DRILLING IS TO BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO LOCATING <br />EXISTING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND UTILITIES. <br />7. ELECTRICAL RUNS SHOWN ON PLAN REPRESENT A GENERAL LAYOUT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL <br />DETERMINE THE ACTUAL LAYOUT IN THE FIELD DURING CONSTRUCTION. <br />8. THE INSTALLER SHALL VERIFY THE PROJECT SOUTH DIRECTION IN THE FIELD, AND INSTALL THE <br />MODULES AS INDICATED ON THE PLANS. THE MODULES SHALL BE INSTALLED AS TILTED <br />TOWARDS THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF PROJECT SOUTH. <br />9. FRONT OF THE INVERTER SHALL NOT FACE PROJECT SOUTH. ORIENT THE INVERTER SUCH THAT <br />IT IS FACING NORTH WHEN POSSIBLE. IF SPACE IS A LIMITING FACTOR THEN THE INVERTER <br />SHALL BE ALLOWED TO FACE PROJECT EAST OR WEST. <br />10. CONNECTORS SHALL BE OF LATCHING OR LOCKING TYPE. CONNECTORS THAT ARE READILY <br />ACCESSIBLE AND OPERATING AT OVER 30V SHALL REQUIRE TOOL TO OPEN AND MARKED "DO <br />NOT DISCONNECT UNDER LOAD" OR "NOT FOR CURRENT INTERRUPTING" <br />11. THE ROOF MOUNTED PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES, PANELS OR SOLAR VOLTAIC ROLL ROOFING <br />MATERIAL SHALL HAVE THE SAME OR BETTER LISTED FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING THAN THE <br />BUILDING ROOF-COVERING MATERIAL <br />12.
