These products are only suitable for connection to a Listed Class 2,12 or 24 V power source; or a R/C Class 2 power supply <br />covered in the Sign Components manual (SAM) and used within its published conditions of use; or a power supply specifically <br />covered by this report. <br />3. These products may be pre-wired with the conductors cut to length per the installation instructions, or the product may be <br />provided with terminals <br />4. Printed circuit boards with LED's are supplied in 2,4,6 or 12 in. lengths. <br />5. ElectraLED LED's may be powered by R/C (XOKV2) Powertronix Corp. Model AA-036539-D, Class 2 transformer. The <br />transformer shall be provided with a maximum 5 Amp LISTED fuse on the secondary output prior to the printed circuit boards. <br />The LEDs must be mounted in a suitable sign body in accordance with UL 48. The transformer shall be mounted in a suitable <br />electrical enclosure in accordance with UL 48 having a minimum volume of 52.0 cubic inches. In the end-product, a replacement <br />of fuse marking shall be supplied adjacent to the fuse indicating "Replace with same type and rating of protective device." <br />6. Enclosure surface to secure the standoffs for printed wiring boards shall be aluminum or as follows: <br />7. ElectraLED ELED-5 and ELED-6 are intended for Dry, Damp and Wet Location use only when LED's are connected to a <br />Class 2 circuit operating at under 30V continuous DC, 12.4 V interrupted at a rate of 10-200Hz DC, or 15 VAC. Wet Location <br />use meaning no additional electrical enclosure or sign body is required for the LEDs. <br />2. ElectraLED ELED-5 and ELED-6 are intended for Dry and Damp Locations use only when LED's are connected to a Class 2 <br />circuit operating at a potential greater than under 30V continuous DC, 12.4 V interrupted at a rate of 10-200Hz DC, or 15 <br />VAC. If the LEDs are connected to a Class 2 circuit operating at a potential greater than under 30V continuous DC, 12.4 V <br />interrupted at a rate of 10-200Hz DC, or 15 VAC then a Sign Body per UL 48 must be maintained to house the LEDs. <br />3. ElectraLED ELED-5 and ELED-6 LED's may be powered by a UL Listed or Recognized Component Sign Accessory - <br />UYMR2, Class 2, output power source. See Conditions of Use No. 1 and No. 2 above for additional details regarding <br />enclosure requirements. <br />4. These products have not been evaluated for use when connected to a power source that does not comply with Class 2 <br />voltage and energy limiting requirements. <br />5. Model AA-036539-D transformer and 5 A fuse as described above is utilized. The transformer shall be <br />mounted in a suitable electrical enclosure in accordance with UL 48 having a minimum volume of 52.0 cubic inches. If used <br />outdoors, the transformer must be mounted in an outdoor electrical enclosure per UL 48 having a minimum volume of 52.0 <br />cubic inches. In the end-product, a replacement of fuse marking shall be supplied adjacent to the fuse indicating "Replace <br />with same type and rating of protective device." <br />9. The ELED-6 system may be supplied with a Lightech Model LET-60, Class 2 transformer. The loading of the transformer shall <br />not exceed 5.0 amps. The ELED-6 system may consist of either: 20 feet maximum of red, yellow or orange LEDs OR 16 feet <br />maximum of white, blue or green LEDs.
