Mar Les <br />Santa Ana, CA,92706 <br />Subject Geotechnical Engineer's Certification of Rough And Precise Grading For <br />Proposed Residential Development, l418 N Mar Les, Santa Ana, California <br />92706. <br />Dear Mr. Duong <br />I hereby certify that the rough and precise grading ofthe subject site has been performed in <br />accordance with the approved soil report and approved grading plan and our additional <br />recommendations during grading; and the graded site is considered geotechnically acceptable <br />and suitable lor the intended use. The previous recommendations of the approved soil report <br />are still valid and should be properly implemented, where applicable. <br />The proposed building footing trenches can be excavated, and construction of the proposed <br />building can be started. <br />It is noted that the remedial removal and recompaction of the upper 3 ft. thick pre-existing <br />earth materials olthe building pad area and minimum 3 ft. beyond/outside of the perimeter of <br />the proposed building has been performed and the fill / backfill earth materials were <br />compacted to minimum ol 90% of the maximum density determined in accordance with the <br />ASTM Test Method D1557. <br />Ifyou have any questions or require clarification, please contact this office.
