Magnolia Ave. 180 Day Extension of Time RequesdEP 77 <br />Plan Check No. 10278331 2013 <br />Dear Mr. Kwak;City of Santa Ana <br />This letter is submitted in response to your letter dated July 29,2013, Attachment 1, notifying me <br />of the pending expiration of a set of plans I submitted on March 14, 2013 which propose to <br />legalize a 480 sq. ft. located at 1317 S. Magnolia Ave. The primary purpose ofthis letter is to <br />respectfully request a not to exceed180 day extension of time to enable me to finalize the plan <br />check comments ahd obtain my building permits. <br />Please note that prior to their submittal for structural review, I worked diligently with Mr. Bernie. <br />Carbajal of your Planning Staff and my plans were finally approved by Planning on March 14, <br />2013. It is my intent to likewise diligently revise and resubmit the plans to the Building <br />Department and finalize the process. <br />I do wish to convey to you that I experienced a significant family illness during the plan check <br />process which we have overcome. In addition to this issue, my telephone was not working at the <br />time staff was attempting to call me to pick up the plans. Likewise unfortunate was the fact that the <br />permit technician wrote the incorrect telephone number of my engineer, Mr. Ignacio Ochoa, in the <br />permit application and staff was unable to contact him. Please note Attachment 2.
