Use additional end screw <br />wherever a predrilled hole does not fall within 3-1/2 <br />inches of the cap strip end segment. 18-8 stainless steel <br /> Rail splice-Joins rail sections into single length of mil <br />it can form either a rigid or thermal expansion joint. 8 <br />inches long, predrilled. Aluminum extrusion, anodized to <br />match PV module frame. <br /> Self-drilling screw (No. 10 *3/47-Use 4 per rigid <br />splice or 2 per expansionjoint. Stainless Steel <br /> End caps-Useone to neatlyclose eachrailend. UV <br />resistant black plastic. <br />@ Thtss-head sheet metal scrnw (No. 8 x 5/89-Use2 <br />per end cap to secure end cap to rail. 18-8 stainless steel. <br />O L.foot (Serrated)- Use to secure rails either through <br />roofing material to rafters or to standoffs. Use no less <br />than one L-foot per 4 feet of raiL Aluminum extrusion, <br />anodized to match PV module frame. <br /> L-foot bolt (3/rx 1-1/47-Useone per L-footto secure <br />rail to L-foot 304 stainless steel. <br />® Flange nut (3/89-Use one perl,footbolt. 304 <br />stainless steel. <br />® l'wo-piece aluminum standoff-Use one per L-foot. <br />Two-piece: aluminum extrusion. Includes 3/8" x 3/4" <br />serrated flange bolt with EPDM washer for attaching <br />L- foot, and two 5/16" x 3- 1/2" lag bolts. Flashings: Use <br />one per standoff. SunPower offers mutiple flashings. <br />® Grounding Lug <br />® Wire Management Clip -Use to secure module wires to <br />module. Stainless steel. <br />Installer supplied materials: <br />Lag screw for L-foot-Attaches L-foot or standoffto <br />rafter. Determine lenglh and diameter based on pull-out <br />values inlable 3 (page 6). Iflag screw headis exposed to <br />elements, use stainless steel. Under flashings, zinc plated <br />hardware is adequate.
