Engineered to meet or exceed all building codes. GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION: MAINTENANCE 1) Glass - Always hose down glass before clean- ing. This allows the force of the water to remove grit and other abrasive partides that may damage the glass. When cleaning glass, always use squeegees and Windex, or its equiva- tent. Avoid using any doth or towel that may have a rough or abrasive texture 2) Framework - The aluminum framework should be wiped down with a soft cloth using prod- ucts such as index, Simple Green or their equiva- tent. Should scratches occur on the alumi-num framework, use a polyurethane paint for touch up. Fence Specialties /nc. uses the highest quality tempered glass for all its clear-view Glass Wall System installations. Each in- dividual piece of glass has an imprinte stamp certifying that is has been tem- pered to meet all local and federal specifi- cations. Tempered glass has the same qualities in home and commercial construction and is impact and shatter resistant. SEALS Due to the early deterioration of rubber seals such as cracking: splitting and rotting, Fence Specialties Inc. does not use this product in its installations. We have designed a pre- formed heavy duty vinyl wall insert for our glass panel to aluminum framework attach- ments, this eliminates the need for replacing rubber seals every 5-6 years. POST AND FRAM EWORK: Fence Specialties Inc. is the only Glass Wall manufacturer that does not install aluminum posts directly into concrete. This application will cause corrosion and posts will eventu- ally need to be replaced. Fence Specialties Inc. uses a custom designed double-roll fonned galvanized steel stanchions for con- crete contact and inner framework Once these stanchions are installed, our custom- designed (round or square) powder-coated aluminum posts slide over the steel stan- chions, allowing a nice snug fit an no con- crete contact. The added strength of Fence Specialties Inc's galvanized: double formed steel stanchions far exceeds that of alumi- num and ads to the integrity of the wall. WARRANTIES chalking.
