Pre-Installation <br />Prior performing any installation activities, it is important to go through each of the items outlined <br />in this section which are essential for the installation process. <br />5.1. If installation in either of these <br />conditions requires, then mounting method to ensure no arching components are located <br />below 18 inches from the driving surface required. <br />o Area is not exposed to temperatures in excess of 50°C, corrosive fumes, combustible <br />materials, or explosive gases <br />o Clearances at both sides for proper ventilation <br />o Clearance at front and sides for accessibility during service (refer to Section 7.2.1) <br />o Wiring and conduit needed to connect the charger to the circuit panel <br />o Location of vehicle’s charging inlets while parked <br />o Use of protective bollards and wheel stops to protect the charger
