Round 1 Bowling and Amusement 12/09/2024 Paradigm Design <br />Main Place Mall Expansion Grand Rapids, MI <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Project #2309147GR <br />INTERIOR FINISH CARPENTRY 06 2023 - 5 <br />C.Wood Molding Patterns: For stock molding patterns included in Wood Moulding and Millwork <br />Producers Association WM 7 and graded under WM 4, provide the following grade based on finish <br />indicated and fabricated from species specified: <br />1.Moldings for Transparent Finish: N-Grade. <br />D.High Density Polyethylene Wall Guards and Trim: As manufactured by Piedmont Plastics, <br />www.piedmontplastics.com for branch locations or approved equal. <br />1.Size: As indicated in the drawings. <br />2.Color: As indicated in the drawings. <br />3.Finish: Matte dimpled finish. <br />4.Edges: Exposed edges shall have 1/4” radius. <br />2.5 MISCELLANEOUS MATERIALS <br />A.Fasteners for Interior Finish Carpentry: Nails, screws, and other anchoring devices of type, size, <br />material, and finish required for application indicated to provide secure attachment, concealed where <br />possible. <br />1.Countersink nails, fill surface flush, and sand where face nailing is unavoidable. <br />2.Where finish carpentry materials are exposed in areas of high humidity, provide fasteners and <br />anchorages with hot-dip galvanized coating complying with ASTM A 153. <br />B.Felt Underlayment: Asphalt-saturated organic felts, unperforated, conforming to requirements of <br />ASTM D 26, Type 1, No. 15. <br />C.Adhesive: Comply with paneling manufacturer's written recommendations for adhesives. <br />D.Acrylic Sheet: Plexiglas® MC acrylic sheet, 0.236 inch thickness, premium grade, transparent. <br />2.6 FABRICATION <br />A.Wood Moisture Content: Comply with requirements of specified inspection agencies and <br />manufacturer's recommendations for moisture content of finish carpentry in relation to relative <br />humidity conditions existing during time of fabrication and in installation areas. Provide finish <br />carpentry with moisture content that is compatible with Project requirements. <br />B.Ease edges of lumber less than 1 inch (25 mm) in nominal thickness to 1/16-inch (1.5-mm) radius and <br />edges of lumber 1 inch (25 mm) or more in nominal thickness to 1/8-inch (3-mm) radius.
