Refer to the Drawings. <br />SECTION 08 8000 - GLAZING <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 SUMMARY <br />A.Section Includes: <br />1.Glass products. <br />2.Insulating glass. <br />3.Glazing sealants. <br />4.Glazing tapes. <br />5.Miscellaneous glazing materials. <br />B.Related Requirements: <br />1.Section 08 8300 "Mirrors." <br />1.2 DEFINITIONS <br />A.Glass Manufacturers: Firms that produce primary glass, fabricated glass, or both, as defined in <br />referenced glazing publications. <br />B.Glass Thicknesses: Indicated by thickness designations in millimeters in accordance with <br />ASTM C1036. <br />C.IBC: International Building Code. <br />D.Interspace: Space between lites of an insulating-glass unit. <br />1.3 COORDINATION <br />A.Coordinate glazing channel dimensions to provide necessary bite on glass, minimum edge and face <br />clearances, and adequate sealant thicknesses, with reasonable tolerances to achieve proper safety <br />margins for glazing retention under each design load case, load case combination, and service <br />condition. <br />1.4 ACTION SUBMITTALS <br />A.Product Data: For each type of product.
