Final Structural Report <br />PROJECT NUMBER: AE230325 | PROJECT NAME: CPT HARBOR ANA <br />ACROS ENERGY | acrosenergy.com | 512.663.9058 | info@acrosenergy.com 1 / 23 <br />July 29, 2024 <br />Subject: Final Structural Report for CPT Harbor Ana <br />2721 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704 <br />To: Loic Ipoua <br />Project Engineer II <br />Powerflex – EDF Renewables <br />805 Third Avenue <br />New York, NY 10022 <br />Via email: loic.ipoua@powerflex.com <br />From: Barrett Crook, PE <br />Sepehr Dara, PhD, PE <br />Summary <br />Acros Energy was retained by Powerflex to assess CPT Harbor Ana building located at 2721 S Harbor Blvd, <br />Santa Ana, CA, 92704 for addition of photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays to its roof. <br />The building is a one-story steel and wood framed structure which appears to have been built in 2000. <br />The roof framing consists of 2x4 wood purlins spanning 8 ft to open web steel joists, which in turn are <br />supported by open web steel girders. The building has a 4-ply built up roofing supported by ½-inch OSB <br />sheathing deck. <br />Acros has determined that the existing roof is feasible for added solar PV arrays up to the following limit: <br />PV Reserve Capacity = 9 psf <br />For total PV system weight limit, concentrated point load capacity, and attachment strengths refer to the <br />body of this report. The selected racking manufacturer is to design the system within the limitations <br />prescribed in this report. <br />Acros Energy has reviewed the racking drawings and calculation set by PanelClaw dated 2025-04-28 and <br />found them to follow the results of the evaluation presented in this report.
