Final Structural Report
PROJECT NUMBER: AE230325 | PROJECT NAME: CPT HARBOR ANA
ACROS ENERGY | acrosenergy.com | 512.663.9058 | info@acrosenergy.com 6 / 23

7. Terms and Limitations
The analysis and the results presented in this report were made with the following assumptions and
limitations:
✔ Acros Energy performed the analysis based on the information provided. This information may
include, but is not limited to, as-built drawings, the history of alterations made to the existing
building, roofing history, addition of mechanical units to its roof, etc. Unless otherwise notified in
writing, in preparing this report Acros assumes that the structure has been properly maintained
and the structure has not been modified during its service life before and after the solar addition.
Acros analysis does not include the structure response in a fire event and does not accept any
responsibility for any damage caused in such events. Acros assumes that all provided information
is current and accurate.
✔ The existing structure and its foundation have been designed in accordance with the governing
building code at the time of construction, and properly constructed and maintained. Acros shall
be notified in writing about any known present or past deficiencies of the structure, and the
measures taken to address them. Acros Energy will accept no liability which may arise due to any
existing deficiency in design, material, fabrication, etc. or lack of maintenance.
✔ The calculations in this report assume that the solar panels are no more than 24 inches above the
rooftop at their highest point. All the design values specified in this report are subject to change
if the system to be installed has a higher profile.
✔ It is the responsibility of the client in collaboration with the racking manufacturer/vendor to notify
Acros in writing about potential amplification or addition of snow and/or wind load to the
building’s structure resulting from the racking system selected for use at the subject project. All
the design values specified in this report are subject to change if the system to be installed results
in amplification of high concentration of loads from snow and/or wind.
✔ The following terms “Solar system”, “PV”, “Solar array” when used in this report are assumed to
include the panels, racking, ballast weight, and assembling parts, for the purpose of weight
specifications.
✔ The analysis performed should be used only for the addition of a PV system as specified in the
body of this report. Additional equipment or mechanical units that are to be placed in this building
would require a separate evaluation and are outside the scope of this report.
✔ The analysis results presented in this report are limited to the existing structure and do not include
the racking system.
✔ Solar panel pallets are not to be staged on the roof without prior layout approval from a licensed
structural engineer.
