Project No. VP-6214-01
Verizon Wireless — Fisher Floral
Introduction
The primary objectives of this study were to explore subsurface condi
proposed Verizon Wireless new equipment enclosure located at 2677 N
CITY OF SANTA ANA
Planning and Building Agency
may, lS.
Approved
FOR PERMIT ISSUANCE
Master ID:
the
Santa Ana, California and evaluate the existing earth materials relative to design factors,
foundation support, lateral earth pressure design factors, seismic and earthwork
considerations.
In general, the study objectives were met by a visual reconnaissance of the site and
vicinity, review of available tentative development plans, exploratory drilling, sampling
of earth materials, laboratory testing, seismic evaluation and engineering analysis. The
general scope and objectives of the study were established in collaboration with the
client.
Site Description
The proposed installation of a Verizon Wireless — equipment enclosure structure will be
on the southeast corner of the 4-story parking structure as shown on Plot Plan with
Boring Location Map (Plate B-1) and Equipment Plan (Plate B-2) located at 2677 North
Main Street in the City of Santa Ana, California.
Proposed Construction
The project is to construct the equipment enclosure structure which houses the equipment
cabinets and generator pads as shown on the Vicinity Map (Plate A) and Google Map
(Plate D). Cellular antennas are planned to be installed at rooftop of the existing four-
story parking structure.
Groundwater
Groundwater was not encountered at a depth of 11.5-feet below grade during the field
investigation. No springs or perennial stream flow in local drainages exist based on older
topographic maps.
