E. Erosion control and drainage devices should be designed by the project civil <br />engineer and should be constructed in compliance with the ordinances of the <br />controlling governmental agencies, and/or in accordance with the <br />recommendations of the soil engineer or engineering geologist. <br />VII. COMPLETION <br />A. Observation, testing and consultation by the geotechnical consultant should <br />be conducted during the grading operations in order to state an opinion that all <br />cut and filled areas are graded in accordance with the approved project <br />specifications. <br />B. After completion of grading and after the soil engineer and engineering <br />geologist have finished their observations of the work, final reports should be <br />submitted subject to review by the controlling governmental agencies. No <br />further excavation or filling should be undertaken without prior notification of <br />the soil engineer and/or engineering geologist. <br />C. All finished cut and fill slopes should be protected from erosion and/or be <br />planted in accordance with the project specifications and/or as recommended <br />by a landscape architect. Such protection and/or planning should be <br />undertaken as soon as practical after completion of grading <br />
