INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />a) In accordance with your request, we are providing you with geotechnical <br />recommendations relating to the construction of the proposed improvement at the <br />above referenced property located in the city of Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />b) We reviewed the plans prepared by your firm. We understand that the proposed <br />improvement will consist of demolishing the existing patio and constructing a 767 <br />ft2 single-story accessory dwelling unit (ADU) in the rear portion of the property <br />between the existing structures on site. A Site Plan, showing the existing <br />structures and proposed addition, is enclosed as Figure 1. <br /> <br />c) We reviewed the in-house geologic hazard maps for the subject site.
