<br />1. THE FIRE PROTECTION PACKAGE IS A PERFORMANCE LEVEL
<br />PACKAGE INTENDED TO DEFINE THE SCOPE AND NATURE OF THE
<br />DELEGATED WORK. THE FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTOR SHALL
<br />PROVIDE THE FINAL DESIGN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS DESIGN
<br />PACKAGE AND SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE OWNERS'
<br />INSURANCE COMPANY AND FM GLOBAL DESIGN CRITERIA.
<br />2.THE FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTOR OR THEIR ASSOCIATED
<br />DESIGN CONSULTANT SHALL BE LICENSED OR OTHERWISE
<br />AUTHORIZED IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PERFORM THE DESIGN
<br />WORK INVOLVED AND SHALL SIGN AND CERTIFY IF REQUIRED BY
<br />THE AHJ.
<br />3. SITE VISITATION: VISIT THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED
<br /> CONSTRUCTION TO BECOME THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH ALL
<br /> DETAILS OF THE WORK AND WORKING CONDITIONS. VERIFY ALL
<br /> DIMENSIONS IN THE FIELD, AND ADVISE OWNER ON SITE
<br /> SUPERVISION OF ANY DISCREPANCY BEFORE PERFORMING ANY
<br /> WORK.
<br />4. HYDROSTATICALLY TEST ENTIRE SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH
<br /> FM GLOBAL. SYSTEM SHOULD BE TESTED TO 200 PSI OR 50 PSI
<br /> ABOVE THE MAXIMUM SYSTEM OPERATING PRESSURE
<br /> (WHICHEVER IS GREATER) FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 HOURS.
<br />5. INSTALL PIPING IN ACCORDANCE WITH FM GLOBAL FOR
<br /> SPRINKLER SYSTEMS, STANDPIPE AND HOSE
<br /> SYSTEMS (AS APPLICABLE).
<br />6. DO NOT ROUTE SPRINKLER PIPING DIRECTLY ABOVE ELECTRICAL
<br /> PANELS PER NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AND THE
<br /> AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION.
<br />7. FIRE PROTECTION PIPING SHOULD NOT BE ROUTED OR TERMINATE IN
<br /> FRONT OF WINDOWS.
<br />8. PROVIDE SPRINKLER COVERAGE BELOW ANY DUCTWORK,
<br /> CATWALKS, PLATFORMS AND/OR ANY OTHER OBSTRUCTION
<br /> GREATER THAN 4'-0" WIDE AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN CEILING
<br /> DENSITY REQUIREMENTS.
<br />9. SPRINKLER TEMPERATURE RATINGS IDENTIFIED IN THE ROOM SCHEDULE
<br /> DEPICT GENERAL ROOM REQUIREMENTS.SOME SPRINKLERS
