THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT <br />LIMITED TO DIMENSIONS, FLOOR HEIGHTS, STEEL OR WALL HEIGHTS, MASONRY OPENING SIZES AND <br />LOCATIONS, AND COLUMN LOCATIONS AND SIMILAR CONDITIONS. <br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING DIMENSIONS AND BUILDING CONDITIONS WHERE NEW <br />WORK IS DEPENDENT OR TYING INTO, WHETHER INDICATED OR NOT ON THE DRAWINGS. ANY <br />DISCREPANCIES OR EXISTING CONDITIONS THAT WOULD AFFECT THE WORK SHALL BE BROUGHT TO <br />THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER IN WRITING FOR RESOLUTION DURING THE BIDDING <br />PROCESS PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF THE BIDS AND PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK ON THE PARTICULAR <br />PART OF THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PHOTOS, DIAGRAMS OR SKETCHES TO <br />EXPLAIN THE SITUATION AND OFFER FEASIBLE SOLUTIONS. <br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWFUL ORDERS AND REGULATIONS OF <br />GOVERNING AUTHORITIES. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL REQUIRED <br />BUILDING PERMITS AND FIELD INSPECTIONS AS DIRECTED BY THE LOCAL BUILDING AUTHORITY. ANY <br />AND ALL REMEDIAL WORK TO CORRECT INSPECTION DEFICIENCIES SHALL BE BORNE BY THE <br />CONTRACTOR UNLESS A DOCUMENT ERROR WAS AT CAUSE. AT THE CLOSE OF THE PROJECT THE <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR THE OWNER. <br />EACH CONTRACTOR OR TRADE SHALL FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE WORK OF OTHER TRADES <br />AND COORDINATE BETWEEN EACH OTHER AS NEEDED SO AS TO AVOID CONFLICTS. ANY FINISHED <br />WORK THAT HAS TO BE REMOVED IN ORDER TO LATER INSTALL WORK OF OTHERS WILL BE THE <br />RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR(S) WHO FAILED TO COORDINATE THE WORK WITH OTHERS. <br />UNLESS NOTED OR INDICATED OTHERWISE, THE GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE <br />FOR ALL STRUCTURAL AND MISCELLANEOUS STEEL, INCLUDING SUPPORTS FOR ROOF TOP MOUNTED <br />EQUIPMENT, MASONRY OPENING LINTELS, AND FLOOR AND ROOF OPENINGS. <br />THE THERMAL INSULATION ENVELOPE SHALL BE INSTALLED AS CONTINUOUS IN ROOF AND WALLS. <br />ANY GAPS SHALL BE FILLED WITH INSULATION SUCH AS FOAMED-IN-PLACE INSULATION. <br />REFER TO MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND REFRIGERATION PLANS FOR EQUIPMENT THAT <br />MAY NOT BE INDICATED ON THE ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING PLANS AND WOULD AFFECT THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDING COMPONENTS. COORDINATE WITH OTHER TRADES TO PROVIDE <br />CONSTRUCTION NEEDED. <br />PROVIDE BOND BREAKER TAPE OR COATING WHERE DISSIMILAR METALS MEET. <br />PROVIDE BLOCKING, STRAPPING, AND SUPPORT WITHIN PARTITIONS, WALLS, OR CEILINGS TO ATTACH <br />SURFACE MOUNTED ITEMS AS NEEDED. <br />CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WORK WITH OWNER ’S MAINTENANCE STAFF TO MINIMIZE DISRUPTION. <br />CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN A SAFE AND CLEAN WORK AREA DURING PROJECT DURATION. <br />OWNER ’S MAINTENANCE REPRESENTATIVE TO DO A WALK THROUGH WITH CONTRACTOR AT PROJECT <br />COMPLETION TO SIGN EACH WORK AREA OFF AS COMPLETE AND TO ENSURE THAT “GOOD <br />HOUSEKEEPING PRACTICES HAVE BEEN MET ”. <br />SEE MECHANICAL DRAWINGS FOR FLOOR DRAINS AND FLOOR SLOPES TO DRAINS. <br />ALL EXISTING EXTERIOR SURFACES THAT ARE BECOMING INTERIOR AS A RESULT OF NEW <br />CONSTRUCTION MUST BE CLEANED AND FREE OF DIRT/ MOLD/ RESIDUE.
