THE FOLLOWING ITEMS REQUIRE SHOP DRAWINGS: <br />SHOP DRAWINGS/ SAMPLES <br />1. The Contractor shall submit, with such promptness as to cause no delay in his own work or in that of any other <br />contractor, reproducible shop or setting drawings and schedules required for the work of the various trades, and <br />samples, templates and models as require, and the Architects & CLIENT shall review them with reasonable <br />promptness. <br />2. Field samples and mock-ups shall be prepared at the site by the Contractor as specified in the various sections of <br />the Construction Documents or Client. <br />3. Shop Drawings (SD), Manufacturer's Specifications (MS), or Samples (S) are required for the following items. See <br />Notes on specific items for additional requirements: <br />a) Structural Steel (SD) <br />b) Kitchen, Bathrooms, Miscellaneous and/or Decorative Ironwork. <br />Coordinate with Interior Designer. (SD) (MS) <br />c) Cabinetry, Special Millwork Items. Coordinate with Interior Designer. (SD) (MS) <br />d) Skylights Submit Cut Sheets (SD) (MS) <br />e) Membrane waterproofing provide specs/. Submit cut sheets (MS) <br />f) Marble, Granite and Decorative Stonework. Coordinate with Interior Designer. (MS) (S) <br />g) Steel Stairs (SD) (MS) <br />h) Steel Guardrails, Handrails (MS) <br />i) Waterproofing (Building Enevelope System) (MS) <br />j) Sheet metal, Cove Base, Ceiling Cove (MS) <br />k) Under Floor Ventilation (grilles & openings) (MS) <br />l) ALL STOREFRONTS, Doors and Windows submit Cut Sheets for review. (SD, MS, S) <br />m) Crawlspace Access location & door with lock (MS) <br />n) Low Voltage and Security / Data Systems (MS) <br />o) Flooring Coordinate with ARCHITECT & Interior Designer. (MS, S) <br />p) Mechanical equipment by Contractor. Consult with Client & ARCHITECT (MS) <br />q) Thermostats, Mechanical Registers and Diffusers, Consult with Client (MS) <br />r) Electrical Equipment and Devices Consult with Client. (MS) <br />t) Plumbing Equipment and Devices Consult with Client. (MS) <br />u) Exterior Landscape (Show Plantings per Client review & Approval) including Irrigation. <br />v) Contractor Shall consult with Client for all Paints, Finishes and all Interior Design Items to complete the project. <br />Coordinate with Interior Designer if supplied by Client. <br />4. Review/approval of samples / cut sheets by the Architect & CLIENT shall not be construed as a check for general <br />conformance with the design concept of the work as expressed in the contract documents. The obligation to <br />guarantee dimensions and quantities is solely that of Contractor. <br />5. Where Shop Drawings are required, Contractor shall submit drawings to Architect & CLIENT for approval prior to <br />fabrication or installation.
