Gravity loads were imported into the SAFE file <br />from the ETABS superstructure model as point loads distributed along walls, and at column locations. <br />Lateral loads were assigned in the model to account for sign convention of spectral loads. <br />What follows is a description of the loads and load combinations used for design, as well as the design of <br />the mat for flexure and shear. <br />
