Multi-Chamber or Single-Chamber 1" Innerduct shall be installed within Conduit per <br />manufacturer's recommendation, and as described elsewhere herein. <br />2. Shall provide independent interior chambers each with a capacity equal to a trade size <br />conduit referenced above. <br />C. Approvals: <br />1. ASTM D2239 (1985) Polyethylene (PE) Plastic Pipe (SIDR-PR) Based on Controlled <br />Inside Diameter. <br />D. Acceptable, subject to the above: <br />1. Aeroquip FODuct System (800) 445-2192: (Design Basis) Provide in combinations to <br />meet scheduled requirement. <br />a. 3ID1 - Provide on e(1) FoDuct PE5004 3 chamber innerduct in one-half of a 4" <br />diameter conduit. <br />b. 2ID1.25 - Provide one (1) FODUCT PE5007 2 chamber innerduct in one-half of a <br />4" diameter conduit. <br />2. North Supply Multi-Guard Multi-Cell Conduit. <br />3. Approved equal by Tamaqua. <br />E. Acceptable - Independent InnerDuct runs in overall rigid conduit - Multiple runs of single <br />chamber inner duct may be provided in lieu of single, multiple chamber innerduct provided <br />above. Contractor bears burden of selected innerduct quantity to provide an exact match of <br />cross-sectional area of each chamber of multi-chamber assembly and to resize overall conduit <br />to accommodate this use. <br />1. Allied. <br />2. Approved equal. <br />2.9 CONDUIT SUPPORTS <br />A. Conduit clamps, straps, and supports: Steel or malleable iron, two-hole straps. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 CONDUIT SIZING, ARRANGEMENT AND SUPPORT <br />A. The size of the conduits for the various circuits shall be as indicated on the drawings and as <br />required by Code for the size and number of conductors to be pulled therein. Where fill is not <br />shown on drawings, size conduit for conductor type installed or for Type THW conductors, <br />whichever is larger; 3/4-inch minimum size. Open ends shall be capped with approved <br />manufactured conduit seals as soon as installed and kept capped until ready to pull in <br />conductors.
