<br />1/4-in diameter by 1-5/8-in nominal embedment depth - ar,,,,, = 0.60
<br />All other sizes - a e9 = 0.75
<br />No reduction neededfor seismic shear. See PTG Ed. 21 Section 3.1.8 for additional information on seismic applications.
