To optimize the design, use <br />Hilti PROPS Engineering software or perform anchor calculation using design equations from ACI 318 Chapter 17. <br />3 Spacing factor reduction in shear, f_ assumes an influence of a nearby edge. If no edge exists, then fAv = fAN. <br />4 Concrete thickness reduction factor in shear, f. , assumes an influence of a nearby edge.
