COORDINATE <br />ELECTRICAL DEMOLITION WORK WITH OWNER. <br />2.THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR <br />TO BID. <br />3.THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT AND CHECK THE ACTUAL <br />SCOPE OF WORK TO BE DEMOLISHED. COORDINATE ELECTRICAL <br />DEMOLITION WITH ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL AND MECHANICAL <br />DEMOLITION WORK. <br />4.THE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC ONLY. DO NOT SCALE THE <br />ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS TO DETERMINE THE LOCATION OF THE EQUIPMENT <br />OR OUTLETS. SEE ARCHITECTURAL PLANS, WHERE PROVIDED ON PROJECT <br />FOR EXTENT OF DEMOLITION. <br />5.CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RELOCATING OR REMOVING FROM <br />WALLS, CEILINGS, FLOOR SPACES, ETC., ANY EXISTING CONDUITS, WIRES, <br />BOXES, FITTINGS, FIXTURES OR OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT WHICH <br />INTERFERES WITH PLANNED REMODEL WORK. <br />6.NOTIFY ARCHITECT WHEREVER EXISTING EQUIPMENT IS ENCOUNTERED <br />WHICH MUST BE RELOCATED DUE TO NEW CONSTRUCTION, OR NOT <br />INDICATED ON "AS-BUILT" DRAWINGS OR BURIED OR EMBEDDED IN <br />STRUCTURE OR SLAB. <br />7.CAREFULLY PROTECT ALL WALLS, TRIM, FLOOR, EQUIPMENT, UTILITY LINES <br />AND MATERIALS. WHEN WORKING ON FINISHED SURFACES, LIMIT DAMAGE <br />TO THE SMALLER AREA IF POSSIBLE AND RESTORE TO THE ORIGINAL <br />CONDITION ALL SURFACES WHICH ARE DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THE <br />INSTALLATION OF THIS WORK. <br />8.EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES TEMPORARILY REMOVED FOR <br />PROTECTION SHALL BE REPLACED IN ORIGINAL LOCATIONS. ANY MATERIALS <br />DAMAGED SHALL BE REPLACED WITH NEW MATERIALS OF LIKE KIND AND <br />QUALITY. <br />9.DEMOLITION WORK SHALL BE DONE IN A MANNER WHICH WILL NOT CAUSE <br />UNNECESSARY INCONVENIENCE OR DANGER TO USERS OF THE PREMISES <br />AND ADJACENT SITE/SPACE, AND NOT INTERFERE IN ADVANCE. <br />10.DO ALL DRILLING, CUTTING, ETC. REQUIRED TO DEMOLISH ELECTRICAL <br />WORK AS INDICATED OR PROVIDE BLANK COVER PLATES ON ALL OUTLETS <br />EXPOSED BY REMOVAL OF FIXTURE OR DEVICES. <br />11.RESEAL ALL PENETRATIONS OR OPENINGS TROUGH WALLS, CEILINGS, <br />FLOORS, ETC., TO MAINTAIN RATING OF STRUCTURE OR DEVICES. <br />12.CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY EXISTING CONDUIT/WIRING RUNS, <br />REUSE AS REQUIRED, AND REMOVE ALL UNUSED CONDUIT /WIRING. <br />UNUSED CONDUIT IN INACCESSIBLE LOCATIONS (WALLS TO REMAIN) MAY BE <br />ABANDONED IN PLACE. REMOVE UNUSED WIRING INCLUDING ABANDONED <br />TELEPHONE, DATA AND OTHER LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEMS CABLING AFTER <br />CONFIRMING WITH THE OWNER REPRESENTATIVE THAT CABLING IS <br />ABANDONED AND WILL NOT RE REUSED. <br />13.CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY CIRCUIT NUMBER AND LOADS FOR ALL EXISTING <br />EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF NEW OR RELOCATED ELECTRICAL <br />EQUIPMENT. REASSIGN CIRCUITS AND LOADS ACCORDINGLY. PROVIDE <br />COMPLETE "AS-BUILT" DRAWINGS AND TYPEWRITTEN DIRECTORIES FOR <br />PANELBOARDS. <br />14.WHERE NECESSARY TO SHUT OFF UTILITY SERVICES OR CAUSE <br />INTERRUPTION TO POWER OR SIGNAL SYSTEMS WHILE A BUILDING/SPACE IS <br />OCCUPIED OR THAT AFFECT ADJACENT BUILDINGS, SCHEDULE OUTAGES <br />OR INTERRUPTIONS WITH THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO CONDUCTING <br />OUTAGE(S). <br />15.PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION POWER DURING PHASE OF DEMOLITION AND <br />CONSTRUCTION. <br />KEYNOTES: <br />SCOPE OF WORK AREA. CONTRACTOR TO DEMOLISH ALL RECEPTACLES, DATA OUTLETS, SURFACE MOUNTED RACEWAYS, <br />AND OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICES INSIDE SCOPE OF WORK UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE WITH (E) FOR EXISTING TO REMAIN <br />AND BE PROTECTED IN PLACE. ALL AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE SCOPE OF WORK SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED.
