<br />1112A.1 GENERAL.CURB RAMPS WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF THE SITE SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AT EACH
<br />CORNER OF STREET INTERSECTIONS AND WHERE A PEDESTRIAN WAY CROSSES A CURB. THE
<br />PREFERRED AND RECOMMENDED LOCATION FOR CURB RAMPS IS IN THE CENTER OF THE CROSSWALK

<br />CENTER. ALL CURB RAMPS CONSTRUCTED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE CURB AND THE STREET SHALL
<br />HAVE A GROOVED BORDER AT THE LEVEL SURFACE OF THE SIDEWALK. SEE FIGURES 11A-3A THROUGH

<br />1.DOME SIZE. TRUNCATED DOMES IN A DETECTABLE WARNING SURFACE SHALL HAVE A BASE
<br />DIAMETER OF 0.9 INCH (22.9 MM) MINIMUM AND 0.92 INCH (23.4 MM) MAXIMUM, A TOP DIAMETER

<br />1128A.1 GENERAL. COVERED MULTIFAMILY DWELLING UNITS SHALL BE ADAPTABLE AND ACCESSIBLE INTO AND
<br />THROUGHOUT THE DWELLING UNIT AS PROVIDED IN THIS DIVISION. NOTE: SEE SECTIONS 1101A
<br />"APPLICATION" (see XX / XXX) AND 1102A "BUILDING ACCESSIBILITY" (see XX / XXX) FOR DWELLING UNITS
<br />REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THIS DIVISION.
<br />The 2022 California Building Code (CBC) 11A and 11B
<br />sheets within these construction documents illustrate code
<br />required minimum accessibility standards for this
<br />development. In addition to the 2022 CBC requirements,
<br />this development is designed to comply with the
<br />accessibility requirements of the April 1998 Fair Housing
<br />Act (FHA) and the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act
<br />Design Guidelines (ADA) for the public portions of the
<br />project.
<br />The General Contractor and sub-contractors shall be
<br />knowledgeable of and build to the listed accessibility code
<br />requirements. If further information or clarification is
<br />required, the General Contractor shall consult the Architect
<br />or reference the 2022 CBC, April 1998 FHA and/or 2010
<br />ADA prior to fabrication or installation of the work scope
<br />identified within these construction documents. The
<br />General Contractor shall be responsible for the accessibility
<br />requirements of all design-build portions of this project.
