City of Santa Ana Public Library Renovation <br />Smith, Fause & McDonald Inc.Group 4 Architecture Research + Planning, Inc. <br />Conform SetASI #026 – August 72, 20254 Group 4 Project No. 22575-01 <br />SECTION 27 4116-34 INTEGRATED AUDIOVISUAL SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT <br />1)The HDMI Matrix shall consist of a card-cage type unit, capable of <br />accepting different input and output cards. <br />Any input shall be routable to any output. Matrix shall provide almost <br />instantaneous HDMI switching for sources with HDCP. Breakaway <br />audio, video, and USB switching shall also be available. <br />2)The HDMI Matrix shall be compatible with the HD Content Point-to- <br />Point Transport System. <br />3)The matrix shall meet the following minimum requirements: <br />a)Ethernet support. <br />(1)Gigabit uplink. <br />(2)Integrated 10/100 managed Ethernet switch. <br />b)Eight, Sixteen or 32 field configurable input card slots <br />corresponding to indicated input configuration <br />c)Two, Four or Eight output card slots, where output card <br />accommodates 4 signal outputs to provide eight, 16 or 32 <br />outputs where indicated by inidcated output configuration. <br />d)Software based setup tool. <br />e)Front panel LCD diagnostic screen. <br />f)HDCP key register detection. <br />g)HDMI Cable test tool. <br />h)Automatic resolution management via EDID. <br />i)HDCP digital rights key management. <br />j)Fast HDMI switching with keep-alive HDCP link. <br />k)CEC signal management. <br />l)Intercept CEC data being sent from HDMI devices. <br />m)Forwards AV control network information. <br />4)Input Cards <br />a)Input cards shall accept various signal types. Input signals <br />shall be converted to HDMI format. <br />b)HDMI Input Cards <br />(1)The HDMI input cards shall be compatible with the <br />HDMI Matrix. Input cards shall provide HDMI <br />(connector) buffered output of input signal. Input <br />cards shall be field upgradeable/installable. <br />(2)The HDMI input card shall accept an HDMI signal. <br />This signal shall be available as an output on the <br />matrix. <br />(3)The HDMI input card shall meet the following <br />minimum requirements: <br />(4)One (1) HDMI input. <br />(5)19-pin type A female HDMI connector. <br />(6)Supports HDCP 1.1. <br />(7)Supports HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color. <br />(8)One (1) HDMI output. <br />(9)Buffered output from input. <br />(10) 19-pin type A female HDMI connector. <br />(11) Supports HDCP 1.1. <br />(12) Supports HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color. <br />(13) One (1) USB 1.1 port for USB HID data. <br />(14) Mouse, keyboard, game controller, or other USB <br />HID device support. <br />(15) USB Type A female connector. <br />(16) Digital to analog converter. <br />(17) 24-bit, 48 KHz <br />(18) One (1) stereo analog audio output.
