The Consultant ui11 be represented <br />on the project b;' competent Personnel in the applied earth <br />sciences who r"i11 inspect and test geotechnical field operations. <br />The Consuttant will provide competent analyses of geologic and <br />soil engineering problems encountered during grading operations <br />and promptil' transmit that information to the client. <br />The Consultant's representative shall be responsible <br />to the cljent for the following specific phases of the geo- <br />technical field inspection and testing: <br />(a) Engineering Geology. The Consultantrs rePresentative <br />shall be respon-sible for deternining conditions involving <br />bedrock integrity, ground h'ater conditions, the influence <br />of geologic conditions on the stability of cut slopes, <br />and the supPort of filt and other geologic factors which <br />ma)'be related to overall stability.
