Austin Street, Santa Ana, CA 92704. <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Pham: <br /> <br />In accordance with the requirements of the City and per your request and authorization, <br />this soil report has been prepared for the proposed project. <br /> <br />It is noted that Geotechnical International was the project geotechnical consultant of <br />many similar projects in the near-by areas. Therefore, we are familiar with the <br />geotechnical conditions of the site. <br /> <br />Follow is a summary of our findings and conclusions and recommendations for this <br />project. <br /> <br />Site Description and Proposed Development <br /> <br />The subject property is located on the easterly side of S. Austin Street, south of W. Kent <br />Ave (south of W. McFadden Avenue), north of W. Jason Lane (north of Edinger <br />Avenue), east of S. Corta Drive (east of Euclid Street), and west of S. Harmon Street <br />(west of S. Newhope Street), within a developed residential area. <br /> <br />A one-story house with a detached garage exists at the site. <br /> <br />Based on the Site Plan prepared by the designer, we understand that the proposed room <br />addition will be located in the rear of the existing house and the proposed ADU will be <br />located in the rear yard corner area. <br /> <br />Note to the geotechnical report reviewer: Please see the actual full-scale plans prepared <br />by the architect/designer/civil engineer which are separately submitted to the City for <br />review, for clarification/details of the proposed development, as needed. <br />
