<br />CONTROL SYSTEM. THE LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM HAS BEEN CATEGORIZED INTO THE

<br />A.SYSTEM STARTUP:
<br />1.MANUFACTURER SHALL PROVIDE FACTORY AUTHORIZED TECHNICIAN TO CONFIRM PROPER
<br />INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF ALL SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
<br />B.PRE-PROGRAM, TESTING, TRAINING COORDINATION:
<br />1.THE CONTRACTOR AND MANUFACTURER SHALL PROVIDE ON SITE REPRESENTATIVES TO
<br />PROVIDE FINAL PROGRAMMING INCLUDING PRESET, SCENE, SWITCH LABELING, AND OTHER
<br />PROGRAMMING ADJUSTMENTS BASED ON OWNER AND DESIGN TEAM ONSITE OBSERVATION
<br />AND VERBALLY REQUESTED ADJUSTMENTS AS PART OF THE BASED BID SCOPE OF WORK.
<br />2.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DOCUMENT ONSITE REQUESTED CHANGES AND UPDATE
<br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS TO MATCH FINAL PROGRAMMING.
<br />C.TESTING:
<br />1.SYSTEM SHALL BE COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL TESTED BY A FACTORY-AUTHORIZED
<br />TECHNICIAN. ALL LOADS SHALL BE TESTED LIVE FOR CONTINUITY AND FREEDOM FROM
<br />DEFECTS, AND ALL CONTROL WIRING SHALL BE TESTED FOR CONTINUITY AND CONNECTIONS
<br />PRIOR TO ENERGIZING THE SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
<br />2.PROGRAMMING OF INITIAL ZONES, SCHEDULES, LIGHTING LEVELS, CONTROL STATION
<br />GROUPS, AND SENSOR SETTINGS SHALL BE PERFORMED BY A FACTORY-AUTHORIZED
<br />TECHNICIAN. LIGHTING CONTROL SEQUENCE OF OPERATION SHALL SERVE AS A BASIS FOR
<br />PROGRAMMING, HOWEVER, ALL FINAL DECISIONS REGARDING GROUPS AND SCHEDULES
<br />SHALL BE AT THE DIRECTION OF THE OWNER. THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES SHALL BE
<br />PERFORMED AT A MINIMUM:
<br />a.CONFIRM OCCUPANCY SENSOR PLACEMENT, SENSITIVITY, AND TIME DELAY SETTINGS TO
<br />MEET SPECIFIED PERFORMANCE CRITERIA.
<br />b.CONFIRM CONTROL STATION LABELING, PRESETS, SWITCH LABELS, AND SCENES.
<br />3.VERIFY OCCUPANCY/VACANCY SENSOR OPERATION IS CORRECT AFTER FURNITURE AND
<br />EQUIPMENT IS INSTALLED IN EACH AREA. MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO SENSOR SETTINGS AND
<br />TIME DELAYS TO ALLOW PROPER OPERATION.
<br />4.VERIFY OCCUPANCY/VACANCY SENSORS ARE LOCATED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE COVERAGE
<br />FOR THE AREA SERVED WITH NO NUISANCE SWITCHING.
<br />a.RELOCATE SENSORS OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SENSORS AS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE
<br />ADEQUATE COVERAGE.
<br />b.MASK OCCUPANCY SENSORS WHERE NECESSARY TO PREVENT NUISANCE SWITCHING
<br />FROM ADJACENT AREAS.
<br />3.8 SYSTEM COMMISSIONING
<br />A.CONTRACTORS' TESTS SHALL BE SCHEDULED AND DOCUMENTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
<br />COMMISSIONING REQUIREMENTS. REFER TO SECTION 01 09 00, GENERAL COMMISSIONING, FOR
<br />FURTHER DETAILS.
<br />B.MASK SENSORS WHERE NECESSARY TO PREVENT NUISANCE SW ITCHING FROM ADJACENT AREAS.
<br />C.SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTING IS PART OF THE COMMISSIONING PROCESS. VERIFICATION TESTING
<br />SHALL BE PERFORMED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND WITNESSED AND DOCUMENTED BY THE
