<br />1. UTILITY SHALL BE NOTIFIED BEFORE ACTIVATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC

<br />2. 110.2 APPROVAL: ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE LABELED, LISTED,
<br />OR CERTIFIED BY A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED TESTING LABORATORY

<br />3. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO INITIATING

<br />7. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT THE ROOF STRUCTURE WILL WITHSTAND
<br />THE ADDITIONAL LOADS.
<br />8. LAG SCREWS SHALL PENETRATE A MINIMUM 2" INTO SOLID SAWN
<br />STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND SHALL NOT EXCEED MANUFACTURER
<br />RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FASTENERS INTO ENGINEERED STRUCTURAL
<br />MEMBERS.
<br />9. AN ACCESS POINT SHALL BE PROVIDED THAT DOES NOT PLACE THE
<br />GROUND LADDER OVER OPENINGS SUCH AS WINDOWS OR DOORS ARE
<br />LOCATED AT STRONG POINTS OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND IN
<br />LOCATIONS WHERE THE ACCESS POINT DOES NOT CONFLICT WITH
<br />OVERHEAD OBSTRUCTIONS SUCH AS TREE LIMBS, WIRES, OR SIGNS.
<br />10. WHERE DC CONDUCTORS ARE RUN INSIDE BUILDING, THEY SHALL BE
<br />CONTAINED IN A METAL RACEWAY; THEY SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED WITHIN
<br />10" OF THE ROOF DECKING OR SHEATHING EXCEPT WHERE COVERED BY
<br />THE PV MODULES AND EQUIPMENT.
<br />11. PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL VENTS THROUGH THE ROOF SHALL NOT BE
<br />COVERED BY SOLAR MODULES- - NO BUILDING, PLUMBING OR MECHANICAL
<br />VENTS TO BE COVERED, CONSTRUCTED OR ROUTED AROUND SOLAR
<br />MODULES.
<br />12. ALL FIELD - INSTALLED JUNCTION, PULL AND OUTLET BOXES LOCATED
<br />BEHIND MODULES SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE DIRECTLY OR BY DISPLACEMENT
<br />OF A MODULE SECURED BY REMOVABLE FASTENERS.
<br />DISCONNECTION AND OVER-CURRENT PROTECTION NOTES:
<br />1. DISCONNECTING SWITCHES SHALL BE WIRED SUCH THAT WHEN THE SWITCH IS
<br />OPENED THE CONDUCTORS REMAINING ENERGIZED ARE CONNECTED TO THE
<br />TERMINALS MARKED "LINE SIDE' (TYPICALLY THE UPPER TERMINALS).
<br />2. DISCONNECTS TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO QUALIFIED UTILITY PERSONNEL, BE
<br />LOCKABLE, AND BE A VISIBLE-BREAK SWITCH.
<br />3. BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE PV CONDUCTORS ARE UNGROUNDED.
<br />THEREFORE BOTH MUST OPEN WHERE A DISCONNECT IS REQUIRED,
<br />ACCORDING TO NEC 690.13.
<br />4. DC DISCONNECT INTEGRATED INTO ROOFTOP DC COMBINER OR INSTALLED
<br />WITHIN 6 FT, ACCORDING TO NEC 690.15 (C).
<br />5. RAPID SHUTDOWN OF ENERGIZED CONDUCTORS BEYOND 10 FT OF PV ARRAY
<br />OR 5 FT INSIDE A BUILDING WITHIN 10 SECONDS. CONTROLLED CONDUCTORS
<br />S30V AND S240VA [NEC 690.12]. LOCATION OF LABEL ACCORDING TO AHJ.
<br />6. ALL OCPD RATINGS AND TYPES SPECIFIED ACCORDING TO NEC 690.8, 690.9,
