The installation requirements noted in the ICC-ES evaluation report <br />ESR-4266 for the 2021 International Building Code® meet the requirements of the Florida Building Code —Building or the <br />Florida Building Code —Residential, as applicable. <br />Use of the Kwik Bolt TZ2 (I<B-TZ2) carbon and stainless steel anchors in cracked and uncracked concrete have also been <br />found to be in compliance with the High -Velocity Hurricane Zone provisions of the Florida Building Code —Building and the <br />Florida Building Code —Residential, with the following conditions: <br />a) For anchorage of wood members, the connection subject to uplift must be designed for no less than 700 pounds <br />(3114 N). <br />b) For connection to aluminurn mernl,v,s, all exponsion anchors must be installed no less than 3 inches from the. edge of <br />concrete slab and/ter luutings.
