This r€port presents a sunmary of our field observations, test rcsults, conclusions and recommendations based on our field inspoction, testing and a review of the referenced report and docurnents. Prge:2 Earthwork Monitorirg and Soil Compaction Test Report Proposed Residential Building 202 E Adams Ave, Senta Ata, CA 92707 LIMITATIONS: Between exploratory excavations and/or field testing locations, all subsurface deposits consequeflt of their anisotropic and heterogeneous characteristios csn and will vary in many important geotechnical properties. The results presented herein are based on the infomration in part fumished by others and as generated by this firm, and represent our best interpretation of that data benefitting from a combination of our earthwork related constuction experiencc, as well as our overall geotechnical knowledge. Hence, the conclusions and recommendations expressed herein are our professional opinions about perthent project geotechnical parameters which inlluence the understood site use; therefore, no other warranty is offered or implied. Test results are representative of compaction testing at the tested areas only. All the findings are subject to field modification as more subsurface exposures become available for evaluations. Before providing bids, contractors shall make thorough explorations and findings. Soil Pacific Inc. is not responsible for any financial gains or losses acsrued by persons/firms or third party from this project. Reguletory Compliance Earthwork described herein has been monitored by a representative ofthis firm. and has been found to be in compliance with applicable local gadine ordinances. The rough grading was started March 28,2019, and were accomplished on April 16,2Ol9 in accordance with our recommendations preseoted herewith. Documentstiotr This report documents findings, test results, conclusions and recommendations from soils and foundations orgineering standpoint. Prior to the start of grading on the site, deleterious materials were gn:bbed and rernoved from the site. Project No. A-645$2-19 202 E Adrms Ave., Srntr rtrl' CA 92707 Prge: 3 Site Grading and Soil Excevetion The gading was Derformed in accordance with proiect design and recommendations to rernove and recompact a minimum of 4 feet below the existing grade. Soil density test s were provided during the grading operation. On-site clayey sand materials was used to backfill. A limited of borrowed materials were used during the backfill. During the R& R operation stockpiled soils were mixed and controlled to have an optimum moisture conteDt. Field Testing Field density testing was performed to veri& the relative degree of compaction using the nuclear gauge P/BC 201l-28 deosity testing and sand cone tools. A total of 19 tests was conducted after grading. A surnmary oflaboratory and compaction test results is 8ttached herewith. The approximate locations offield density tess are shown on the Compaction Test l,ocation Plan (A-l-l). The fill is considered as primary and structural fill. Crading equipments were used to overexcavate the Droposed buildins area and 5 feet beyond wherever was applicable. The bottom ofthe proposed pad was scarified to a minimum of8 inches. The soil compaction tests indicated that tested fill materials where tested exhibiting more than 90olo relative compaction and therefore are competent. On the basis of the forgoing information together with data supplied in the referenc€d repon, it is the opinion of this firm, that the observed soils have been properly compacted and are mnsidered adequate to be capable of supporting the planned improvements.
