EXPEDITED PERMIT PROCESS FOR PV SYSTEMS
MICRO-INVERTER
The Solar America Board for Codes and SEndards (Solar ABCS) Expedired Permir Pro-
cess provides a means ro differenriare sysrems rhar can be permirred quickly and easily
due ro their similarity with the majority o[ small-scale PV sysrems. Those sysrems wirh
unique characterisrics may be handled wirh small addirions ro rhis Expedired Permir
Process or may require much more informarion, depending on the uniqueness of the
insrallation.
The following pages conuin forms for rhe Micro-lnverter ro use wirh rhe Expedired per-
mit Process. The Standard Srring, AC Module, and Supply-Side Connection forms
are also available as interactive PDF files at www.solarabcs.org/permirting. In jurisdic-
tions rhar have adopred rhe Expedired Permir Process [or PV Systems, these forms can
be filled out electronically and submitted in eirher prinred torm and via email. An elec-
tronic format is used so that the supplied informarion is srandardized and legible for the
Iocal jurisdiction.
