The design of the mounting system including hardware has been reviewed and it was determined, for the configurations and criteria contained within this document, to be compliant with the structural requirements of the applicable codes listed above. The Inverter portion of the Powerwall is attached to the wall with it's own bracket and anchors. The weight of the Inverter portion is less than a third of the Battery portion and anchored with approximately half as many connections. Therefore the Inverter bracket anchors pass by inspection when the Battery bracket anchors are passing. Note, the Inverter portion is a single unit and cannot be stacked over the Battery portion. All wall framing referenced in the details must be part of the home's main permitted bearing wall and or lateral resisting system. The contractor and their licensed design professional are responsible for ensuring the walls, and their load transfer connections, are structurally sound to support all code-specified vertical and lateral loading imposed by the equipment. This report is not site-specific and therefore is intended for attachments in regions where the design criteria outlined is not exceeded. Only the hardware attachment of the Powerwall mounting bracket to various structure types is considered in this document. Therefore - if the 20 psf (12psf min when reduced) is eliminated below the proposed PV Arrays, the roof is more than capable of supporting the additional 2.80 psf dead load due to the proposed array. Therefore, by observation, the existing roof structure is sufficient. 7/18/2024 214 W Alton Ave 10/8/2024 214 W Alton Ave 10/8/2024 214 W Alton Ave 10/8/2024 214 W Alton Ave 10/8/2024 214 W Alton Ave 10/8/2024 From:Tom Bowyer To:Ivette Monroy Subject:FW: [EXT] Signing Complete for Autho Letter Gibbs.pdf Date:Monday, September 16, 2024 12:28:20 PM Attachments:baker_home_energy_logo_color_rgb-ai_87759521-fc78-44a1-84cb-6710d4708975.png Autho Letter Gibbs.pdf Tom Bowyer | Project Lead tbowyer@bakerhomeenergy.com Desk: 1.760.317.5032 Mobile: 1.760.317.5032 Phone: 1.877.578.8080 | 2120 Harmony Grove Rd | Escondido, CA 92029 | www.bakerhomeenergy.com © 2018 Baker Home Energy | CA license # 858088 C-10 / C-46 / C-39 / C-20 | Baker Home Energy is a trademark of Baker Electric & Renewables LLC, and NB Baker Electric, Inc.
