The project has been designed for a wind exposure C, with an basic wind speed of 100 MPH. The roof is to be constructed of composition shingles. The photovoltaic array will mount flush to the roof planes with a maximum of 8" space between the bottom of the panels and the finish roofing. The proposed photovoltaic array consists of 8 modules on each roof. Roof pitches may vary between 3:12 & 5:12. Panels shall be setback a minimum of 36" from ridge lines and 19" from valleys for all orientations. The photovoltaic array rails shall run perpendicular to the roof slope. The photovoltaic array mounts shall be Unirac, Solar Mount, L-foot or equivalent and shall be installed at a spacing not more than 48” o.c.
